Job Interview in
English:
Watch all, some, at least one of the following videos before Wednesday’s class.
It will help you to prepare for the interview you will have next class.
If
you search on youtube, you will find an infinite number of videos with advice
on how to answer interview questions. One of the most common questions, which
we discussed in class, is Tell me about
yourself. The following is, in my opinion, one of the best. The language is
a bit difficult but you can watch it over and over.
Dice TV: Tell
me about yourself
The following
is not much of a video. It is all text with background music but the advice is
good. (Just like the advice I gave you in class.)
Answers to 5 toughest job interview
questions
This
last video, longer than the previous two, is quite good. The speaker is very
clear and provides a good example of how to handle oneself in an interview. I
will admit that it is ‘a bit American’ but what we are trying to learn is how
to face a job interview in English.
